Job Description The Business Intelligence Developer Lead Consultant provides the development, testing, implementation, and maintenance of complex Business Intelligence solutions and reports using the Microsoft SQL Server BI stack and/or other tools. This role is responsible for the aggregation of data from multiple sources into an efficient data warehouse and designing reporting solutions for very large multidimensional databases. Key Responsibilities * Evaluates and improves existing BI systems and processes * Collaborates with teams to integrate systems * Develops and executes database queries * Develops standard reports and functional dashboards based on business requirements * Translates complex business needs to technical specifications * Designs, builds, and deploys complex BI solutions * Maintains and supports data analytics platforms * Conducts developer testing and troubleshooting * Partners and collaborates with technical and non-technical stakeholders to solve complex business problems * Develops and updates technical documentation Education * 4 year Bachelors Degree (Preferred) Experience * 5 or more years of experience (Preferred) Supervisory Responsibilities * This job does not have supervisory duties. Functional Skills * Knowledge of Structured Query Language (T-SQL) * Advanced knowledge of the following skill sets: SSIS, SSRS, SSAS * Knowledge of relational database management systems, online analytical processing (OLAP) and ETL (Extract, transform, load) framework * Knowledge of data warehouse design (e.g. dimensional modeling) and data mining * Analytical mind with a problem-solving aptitude * Development knowledge of all phases of Software Development Lifecycle * Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) * Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills * Effective organization and time management skills with the ability to work under pressure and adhere to project deadlines At Integon, great things happen when our people work together.
